I do recall a perceived early season solidity which was almost entirely put at the feet of Mr S Bould who had revolutionised the way we defend.

I also recall a magnificent performance by Abou away to Liverpool, superb that day.

The rest of the time I think there has been such a desire among Arsenal supporters for him to stay fit and finally become the player he could be that on occasions he has been lauded beyond his performance, the belief that he is the missing piece of the midfield jigsaw as such.
