guns blazing

Imagine if he really rips them to shreds before he goes, comparing them again to the "wonderful" Liverpool supporters

run by horrid people but on the other hand he shouldn't have whored himself for the money. The Russian calls & they all fall at his feet.

allow that continuous fury since he joined

Either Abromovich (I know it will never happen) or the board should have come out and asked the supporters to be patient and support the club instead of the circus that has been going on since he joined

I don't really see how Rafa has been treated badly, paid a lot of money and entirely his fault for slagging off Chelsea and their fans when he was at Liverpool, what did he expect? More to the point, what the hell did Roman think was going to happpen?

And that appears to be the only complaint he has against the club.

The fans owe him nothing - he was extremely rude about the club when he was at Chelsea, he couldn't expect anything else from the fans.

It would be like Pulis managing Arsenal.

regarding the board - are you merely going on his ridiculous assertion that he did not know it was an interim position? They could be more supportive but at the same time Rafa is being slightly disingenuous saying he didn't know the position. Faults on all side imo. Lets just hope West Brom take advantage on Saturday :-)

and even if he was, why go out of his way and crucify the club everytime the club name is mentioned?

And the Rafa situation is very different

once they realised the fans reaction, instead they all went hiding

I am obviously too thick

We have a player who for whatever reason has left the club under possibly not the best circumstances, lets even call it the worst circumstances; Does that justify him going all out to crucify the club several times a day?

We are talking about criticising the club about the performances, tactics, criticised Wenger and Walcott especially

What has Theo got to do with anything that happened behind the scenes?

and why bring all these in to the Rafa discussion when so different?

Luis Anaconda

but the fact is unless the fans stopped revolting then the board would be sending messages out every five minutes - not sure that is good. Bottom line is he was silly to take on the job (though I say that with hindsight as at the time he seemed to have less to lose, since everyone knew he would only be there for 6 months or so, I though the Chelsea fans would behave decently .... oh)

Hillary

My point is that if an employee is so hacked off with life he should resign. He shouldn't slag off the fans and the club. I also said that any employee of Arsenal that did so would be roundly condemned by you.

You have ignored this and are trying to get me to name situations completely analogous to the Rafa one - and as can be seen below, when someone comes up with one, you will instantly dismiss it as not being the same thing at all and so not comparable.

It's plain dishonesty.

Hillary

Essentially, you think Rafa is entirely justified in saying what he said because you agree with him
