"All about the oil" wasn't one of them. It's a lazy, simplistic, one-size-fits-all argument that skips the thornier questions about the habits of the most powerful nations using military might against smaller nations at will, usually on trumped-up charges.

I wanted more. Any any further questioning just came up with nothing new.

As you're one of the few people here that recognises how western action involves frequently backing Islamism, it's hard to see why you still trot out what I consider to be the old canard of "it's all about supporting Israel". I see that as much of a schoolboy error as "it's all about oil".

in decision-making meetings.

Energy security will become a bigger and bigger issue in the years to come. At some point or other, there will simply be more demand than it is possible to supply - I somehow doubt the US will be the country to miss out.
