And a similar plot line, and its also a spaghetti western now is it?

Oh yes the original movie was in 1966, kind makes a mockery out of the original tag as well.

Takashi Miike even did a Japanese version a few years back. You should watch the original though as it's a spaghetti western classic.

So films that are similar now constitute being the original to a completely different film?

I'm surprised you even know what a dictionary is.

There are the odd one or two gems but generally, and this is specifically referring to the english language remake, they are best avoided until you see the original.

It's not snobbishness, well not much, but you run a very real risk of ruining an excellent film by accidentally seeing a remake first.

Maybe deep down that's why it's taken me long to get to see it, I've got cineworld membership and I've chosen to see other films before Django unchained.

Maybe that's the problem you're having with the thread, you're so busy trying to prove that I'm wrong, you miss the point of the thread all together.

Maybe I should say leave the discussion to the Homosapiens who do get it, because a Neanderthal like you just won't get it.

I think that's been pretty clear since my first reply.

Funny that, others have read my post, understood my point and engaged in the discussion with no problem,

but hey you want to make your point so you can feel good about yourself and put yourself in the position of being right then don't let me stand it your way.

You knock ourself out mate, no skin off my nose.

If you find it abnormal that someone points what you've said isn't accurate, then how do you get along in regular conversation?

Emotional intelligence :hehe:

Especially when Im capable of saying what I think for myself and the other person clearly doesn't.

You can spend your whole time pointing out what you assume are inaccuracies if that's what floats your boat.

What I know is that the responses I received from others tells me they 'understood' what I was saying and that's enough for me.

Jake

You shouldn't have to affirm anything to me if others replies are enough for you.

Your boundaries of emotional intelligence are so far beyond mine I'm surprised you've degraded yourself my continually responding to my jibes.

As long as I know why I choose to reply and that I do have that choice that's all that matters.
