He then goes on to use Jenkinson, Ramsey & Gibbs as examples, our best players, well there lies another problem.

Arsenal's football turnover dropped from £113.5m to £106m as a result of four fewer home fixtures compared to the same period last year.
That is what happens when you don't take cups seriously & play second string teams in the CL & don't top your group.
£17.8m + probably another similar figure is a £35m warchest not the £70m touted & probably what is needed.
Forget the cash reserves they won't spend that.
& the best for last:
