for the last 5 years comes from TV deals, everything else is pretty much static

although that should change now with the renegotiating of commercial deals

Match day revenue. Until the new increase anyway, but that's small change really.

wenger basically had this 17 million to build a title winning squad?

how can he compete in this enviroment....thats basically what sunderland and west ham have available

and our tv money income is very competative....however our commercial income pathetic compared to alot of european teams....teams like dortmund and schalke bring in double of what we do in commercial revenue.....thats where we're lacking...

and i think only a competitive team can raise those figures.....this 4th is a trophy nonsense wont get us alot of commercial revenues

It's more important than that.

worth £20m extra to each team, and that doesn't include the new prize money.

Arsenal count the wages :-|

We'd be lucky if we can get a striker better than Ricky Lambert :o

and teams like barca, real, inter, milan...and most importantly juve have seen their commercial income increase alot compared to us since 2006....and we all know the economic state of those countries.

furthermore...chelsea's commercial income say in 2006 compared to now...have increased alot while ours have been static....

i dont think its linked to a specific country....i think the general direction we're moving compared to other top european teams have been static since 2006...both in terms of finance and on the field.

4th is basically keeping us ahead of spurs, sunderland everton, newcastle etc.....but we're losing ground to top english/european teams in terms money.

chelsea are allready past us in revenues...and they say city will to in the next 18 months

as we had to sign the multi year, front loaded deals to build the ground. Even normal sized deals will see us up our yearly income significantly.

lets say we buy one player on 80k a week...thats 4 million a year.... ....possible signing fee and agent fee can mean another million....which means wenger can only spend 12 million

and then you get ppl abusing wenger and singning spend some f.cking money.....eh..what money?

but commercial revenue is not only the shirt deal....remember...our total commercial revenues was 50 million...i think 13m came from the emirates......meaning the other 37 million came from other deals....they are weak as well

now the emirates are paying us 30m a year......we're closer to other top teams in that department....but the other 37 million we get needs to be raised significantly as well....thats why we need a stronger team

sales of RvP and Song. I say this without looking at any figures
