explain what you meant with your post about Mourinho keeping 1 or 2 players back when Chelsea had a corner?

The fact is that Arsene Wenger does a far better job than pretty much any manager in the world could do at our club.

You just might get Ivan's job in the summer

did have an excellent 15-match unbeaten run after Christmas, when Scholes was exceptional.

What are your credentials?

or any other opinion doesn't count. I've played football up to under17/18s, had a contract with levski Sofia, which is far more than you've ever done I imagine. Don't mean to bicker, just saying, since you went down that route, Arsene.

I don't regurgitate Wenger's words. As far as I know, he has made no mention of either our extremely creditable attacking or defensive records so far this season.

But still, does the defence rrrrreeeally fill you with confidence if you're being honest? Or to be more precise, the way we defend, not the exact 4 defenders + keeper. (Theo was napping yesterday as Weimann raced past him.)

that accounts for the fact that everyone - even the runaway leaders - have conceded a lot of goals, and that this may have skewed our perception of quite how bad our own defending is.

most of them do seem a bit absurd. As for the Mancs, it's unreal how hardly anyone has been able to beat them, when they were regularly letting in 2 goals per game at one stage. It makes me sick and a bit vexed with God or whoever is up there, dangling sandals from a white cloud.

are scrutinised more.

Look at Ivanovic for Man City's second today. Turned his body as Tevez shot in a way that was no worse than Mertesacker for Bayern's first last Tuesday. Bet no-one mentions it in the media though.

find myself wanting Lampard to score in order to beat the record. Not wanting Chelsea to win of course, but him to score. I don't know what's wrong with me :-(
