I It just seems to me that instinct and the basics have been 'trained' out of us.

It's been too regular an occurrence with many top players over the years for it to be just a problem with on-field personnel.

Mentioned it post match but we've really missed Alex Song. Probably more than RVP.

In the old days...Vieira + (Petit / Gilberto / Edu / Parlour / Grimandi) wouldn't have stood for the sort of crap we've put up with this season.

Its basically Back Four, Arteta and everyone else run around and pretend to Barcelona with the French John Hartson up front.

No on track backs, no discipline, Arteta is being dragged all over the place and the back 4 is absolutely exposed.

Pretty sure we've got a decent goalie and very good back 4 but they've got absolutely no protection. The ball just comes right back at them, attackers run at them at will because no one stops then.

When things change and we go on the offensive we just can sustain it because we're still weak in the defensive midfield position...1 mistake and its game over.

Really need Alex Song back....or someone similar to play alongside Arteta.

Reckon Arsene's plan is to give Ramsey a couple more seasons in the first team and eventually it will all click for him like he did with Song.

Just look at the left back sitution. Pretty clear we needed a left back...Should've gone up to Everton and slapped £25m on the table for Baines. Nope no money....have to f**k about with Monreal on the cheap and accept he's fkin cup tied in Europe.
