Or is it that they are more tactically astute. I thought Munich and Milan played very similar. They hunted in packs and every opponant in or near the box was surrounded. Just putting it out there like.

Their defence was awful last night though. Still fancy them to get 2 or more in Barcelona, if they concede or not is another matter

defensivly for me. They are great as a unit but get away with murder at times.

possession and made it very difficult for Barca to get past them. Of course as the drugs wore off, Milan found a few gaps to exploit and did so very well.

We just are not set up to defend like that. It takes a lot of work to be able to defend the way Milan did. It doesn't have that much to do with the individual players concerned, but their preparation for the game.

Not because of the rumors they want Vermaelen, that would probably help us.

No, the rumor in Spain is that they also want Fernando Amorebieta a player who is available for free in the summer on a Bosman and is strongly linked with us.

Amorebieta would be PERFECT for us. Good defensively, great organizer and an incredibly tough character. Possibly too much at times in fact - he's the most frequently sent-off player in Bilbao's history, altho a lot of those are against Barca and Real and wouldn't necessarily be reds against lesser opposition.

We'd have a replacement for Martin Keown if we brought in Amorebieta, that's the best equivalent, although the Venezuelan (in reality more Spanish) can probably play a bit better...
