Money in modern football is made from tv rights (but not in this country negotiated individually, commercial deals and merchandising. All of these imply success or being nearly there. Without having a team that can compete for trophies (even if it doesn't win them) Stan will be left with a very expensive piece of real estate he can do bugger all with other than use for sport.
