Wenger has probably made some mistakes, but if a club spend no money (or has no money to spend), sell his best players each year, it's just impossible to compete, especially if your opponents are doing the other way round (like splashing tons of cash Man City style).
Moneyball. It makes me laugh when some posters keep talking about tactics when this is hardly what matters at this level.
And for all his deficiencies, Wenger could have gone to greener pastures (like Real or PSG) and chose to stay with us (unlike some players). I'm pretty sure the guy is as mad as anyone about the lack of competitiveness of his team.
