That's not a self sustainable model, that's just increasing your pockets without caring if the team wins or not.

I do fully support the self sustainable model, but DO INVEST in the team if you have the money... we have continuously failed to do that, not only last summer or in January

Either way, we still spent a reasonable sum on new players, for a club with our business model.
It isn't as if we had a spending embargo. We're not CFC or City, so are you suggesting we rack up annual losses of 40-50m.?

The real issue is whether or not we bought wisely.

and our financial model doesn't work. Too many middling players on middling salaries which doesn't leave money to reward top guns.
