might as well resign now...or he'll end up destroying his legacy.

he wont turn this around...its beyond repair for him

The need for investment is now definitely acknowledged by Wenger and the club.

I'd would say, for those reasons, that next season is the truly defining one.

games remaining. Surely you have to give him until the end of the season.

Much may depend on whether we finish fourth. Cazorla isnt going to want to hang around too long without the champions league.

As for investment.....i think we are past that stage to be honest. Bridging tht gap would cost a fortune and take a while.

I mean, not in a actual, real, common-sense way, just in the eyes of the majority of people.

And, seemingly, more and more arsenal....um...people

those clubs who could use our players cant afford them.

it will take 2-3 seasons to rebuild a competitive squad (assuming our board wants to) wenger simply do not have that amound of time and faith from the fans/media.

we need another man to come in and be given time to rebuild the team, a new manager will get time and the benefit of the doubt.

there is simply to much negativity around the club for wenger to be able to work in peace and correct his mistakes.

why will it change now? Also i think Sagna and Vermaelen will probably be off in the summer.

Sagna because he's shot, by and large. Vermaelen just because he actually causes more problems than he solves.

They'd cite promises of investment and greater focus on the league without the CL imo.

Besides, I'm not arguing that we'll be on a Bayern esc level with investment next season. Rather we'll be able to provide a more genuine challenge for the title with the quality of the Premiership being pretty poor at the moment.

Tries to cross it. Defensively he's not all that either

Vermaelen is a f**king joke and Sagna is obviously on the decline. Both leaving will probably be a positive.

the rest of the season will be a looooong negativity orgy....ppl will come up with 101 ways to slate him and ridicule him...the damage on him and the club can be huge.....

lets face it...the best he can achieve now is another 4th place which he's done every season...the worst is end up in 7th or even 8th.....there is nothing positive in him staying now

might as well go out now....and be remembered for what his done

Sorry, what I meant to say was "failing to pick out our crack team of goal-phobic midgets and delusional winger-cum-children's author"
