the only interesting thing Jamie Redknapp has ever said as a TV pundit was when he was talking about the Arsenal team from around the invincibles era, it went something along the lines of "you pretty much knew you were beaten when you lined up in the tunnel, not only were they intimidating in terms of size, you knew they could play you off the park, and if you wanted a scrap then they would beat you at that as well".

We had Bergkamp, Viera, Freddie, Henry, Lauren, Jens who would all step in when necessary.............who do we have now, Wilshire (who is a short arse)and who else, Giroud maybe?

how times have changed

... that team used to get beat as well. A lot. Villa Park 1999, Copenhagen 2000, Cardiff 2001, Collapsed in 2003, Chavs in 2004. Truth is that for a while from 2002-2004 Arsenal did have a team that were arguably the best but even they didn't have the winning mentality they should have had, otherwise they would have another title and a European Cup.
