Especially with us being clearly under-estimated.
Why? (Remember, this assumes our best XI is fit to play)
1. TV5 at LB, and back four of Sagna, Per, Kos, TV5 is actually our best back four for a game like this.
2. No Diaby, Ramsey (except at emergency RB or in last few minutes) in the first team, means we will not give up possession in dangerous. areas.
3. Not a repeat of Blackburn given the starters, and given that they are motivated to show the world what they can do. Indeed, will be, I think, the first time that XI, our best, has played from the start: Szcez, Sagna, Per, Kos, TV5, Arteta, Jack, Santi, Theo, Pod, Giroud.
4. Per and Pod extra motivated for obvious reasons.
5. Bayern is clearly under estimating us. They have not been as strong in CL as they have in the league. We can get four points out of the two contests. Key tactical battles: Theo will find space, Sagna knows Ribery well, midfield of Mikel, Jack and Santi more than a match for them over two games.
6. Drawback to this analysis? Let's hope there are no injuries in defense. Super weak bench for this level, other than Rosicky. Hope keeper is not doubting himself afte the weekend.
Can't believe that everyone thinks Bayern will walk this. Not obvious at all to me...
