Tradionally, it may have been a one team league, but it has become competitive over the last few years. That was my point.

Liverpool have won as many European Cups as their whole league put together. Bayern have won it once since Gerd Müller was banging them in for fun, in which time five different English clubs have won it.

And since their financial meltdown a decade ago, Bayern virtually own Dortmund, in any case. And 1860 too. And in which time Bayern have helped themselves to five titles (come May). So much for being more competitive recently. And that's even before Guardiola gets the cheque book out!

BM are so far ahead of their domestic competition it's almost a scandal. In fact, it is a scandal.
