Can any of you learned gents tell me if I can find out if I am eating a Romanian north Atlantic cod or if it is a fillet that may have been marched several times across the Irish border to take advantage of subsidies. Should I stick to the Youngs chip shop Bassa fillet, delicious but fishy in taste or should try to avoid the potential pitfalls by letting my NEIGH bours cat taste it first.

Help greatly appreciated as I am so determined to get to the bottom of this and once I get the bit between my teeth...........
