will find a loophole. Let's hope we haven't slipped so far that once it is a level playing field we will be too far behind to compete.

make themselves look incredibly stupid.

UEFA in particular take a rather fascist approach to such instances.

It will work and will see Arsenal as a competitive team within the next 5-7 years imho. Maybe even sooner.

in your life on here.

They were most certainly correct. This is the only line that people who doubt FFP say. How many times have we heard it?

much, it will just hamper the smaller clubs.

Quote:

Premier League clubs are restricted in terms the amount of increased PL Central Funds that can be used to increase current player wage costs to the tune of:

2013/14: £4m
2014/14: £8m
2015/16: £12m

The Short Term Cost Control measure applies only to clubs with a player wage bill in excess of £52m in 2013/14, £56m in 2014/15 and £60m in 2015/16.

So basically, smaller clubs can't inflate their wage bills off the back of the new TV deals with all that money, but all the bigger clubs who get more revenue from the commercial side can just continue as they please. I'm not surprised the chairman voted for it, as i read it these regulations mean they'll be pocketing more of the tv money rather than the players.

commercial revenue streams are so poor. Especially compared to United and Liverpool.

It could work well for us because they'll have to get rid of many squad members who aren't willing to accept reduced wages for a fraction of what City paid.

They also won't be able to outbid us at will all of the time.

actually I can't think of anything original to say on this subject

Actually I don't think I've ever read him being critical of me cricket wise. then again, I din't really read his posts in any depth, so it might have missed that post
