does the ridiculous nonsense stop be spouted by AW. He talks about the team as if he has just plucked a bunch of youth team players and lets see how it goes. What fecking bull****.

Sagna, mertsacker, vermaelen are all long standing internationals. Even if some of the others are mid20s they have nearly all been playing for a number of years. Yet each season we just seem to get worse. Every year we hear that we are rebuilding the team. Then we sell our best players. So after 8 years of rebuilding the team I want to hear when is it going to be built ?

When the stadium was in progress it was all about the increased revenue making us more competitive blah blah blah. Now it seems that near doubling our highbury crowd is still not enough. Now we seem to be waiting for the Financial Fair Play. When do the excuses stop.

The club announce that season ticket prices will stay the same as if it is some great gesture. We are the highest paying fans in the league or near enough yet we pay more to watch a team that is light years away from the top 3.

Enough I say. Stop fecking with our club. AW is now a parody of himself. Week in week out its just full of absolute nonsense....but he does nothing about it. Even if we had won last night it wouldn't have made it a good performance just a good result. For 1 hour we were dire...just like vs chelsea, man city etc etc.

give the young players a chance blah blah but it isn't the f**king young players that are the glaring problem & if he can't see it then we really are in trouble.

Not bad...the only thing you missed was ,of the 10 defenders in the squad at what point will we see them actually performing as a proper defensive unit as opposed to..."...they really want to do well but get nervous..."........ What kind of bull **** is that ? Same as last week, but he applied it to the whole team

1) What would you expect him to say about them? Yes this defensive frailty is a situation which Wenger has to take the blame for, but he gets nothing now from crucifying them to the press.

2) You just can't use the fact we have kept losing our top players as a stick to beat Wenger with. If anything, that we have managed to maintain despite having our best players poached from us year on year is testament to his ability. Yes, it does look like we might be reaching a watershed moment this season and could finish outside the top four, but we gain nothing from histrionics, especially when there are 14 matches still to go.

3) Surely you must be able to understand that we are still paying our stadium off? And that since we began construction, City and Chelsea became rich to the point of making any financial gains we make from our 60,000 capacity far less beneficial.

4) Are you really using our ST prices being frozen as an issue with which to beat the club? Even if we were lightyears away from being in the top 3 (we came third just last season iirc), that is hardly a disgrace given the relative financial clout of our competitors?

You can say Wenger is a parody of himself - and I will agree that there are many things about his management that are utterly frustrating - but how many managers do you think would have been able to keep us in the Champions' League spots so consistently while obviously having their hands tied financially? Wenger was happy to spend money (and he spent it well) before our move to the Emirates, so it is entirely reasonably to surmise that he has been trying to do his best with not very little. And has been doing a rather good job, as well.

the unit. And with Wenger as head coach the responsibilty of their inability to do the basics is down to him. All the talk of limited resources is bollox and used by wengers supporters as an excuse to hide his own frailties. He's spent several million on the likes of Per, TV, Santos, Kos etc. Several millions more than say the likes of Swansea whos defence seem a lot more adept at defending than us. Luckily Wengers "limited resouces" have enabled him to buy a few good attacking players that are producing the goods. However they cant be expected to outscore the opposition every week because Wenger is incapable of doing anything about the defensive frailties.

If individually they are useless then whos to blame? could it be the man who wasted millions on them? Either way the buck stops with wenger.
