Then at the West Ham game he shouted "Sit down, you're in the upper tier, you dopey ****s". Again, I was genuinely seething and could hardly enjoy the rest of the half. By half time I'd calmed down and decided not to say anything.

Not that I am a violent person, but I worry that if I do confront him I'll end up doing something that would get me in serious trouble.

is not the way it will play out in reality. For example, he may kick my **** in before I get into my stride, which would obviously not be ideal.

In my head I turn round and tell him to shut the fúck up and then when he shouts back I tell him that we'll sort it out at half time. Then at half time I basically tell him in the firmest terms to never, ever tell me to sit down again because as much as it may annoy him, it's no way near as much as his painfully whiney, nasally voice annoys everyone around him.

I'll also ask him why I have literally never, ever heard him say anything positive Arsenal or a single one of our players.

Saw him in the concourse at the last game. Probably six foot one, fairly sturdy looking bloke, can't say I would be entirely confident of my chances, but I think my sheer anger would give me the edge.
