Last week fans from clubs across the north west came together in Manchester at the first of the FSF’s Score Campaign events, to discuss ideas on how to make football more affordable for the travelling fan.

The idea behind the Score Campaign is simple – we want clubs throughout England and Wales to agree to charge no more than £20 for away match tickets (£15 concessions). The Manchester meeting marked the encouraging first steps in combining the various campaigns and initiatives that are already in place, and harnessing the energy and enthusiasm of fans from across the region behind a national campaign on away ticket pricing.

The next regional meeting takes place in London.

Where and when? Thursday 31st January (7pm-9pm): The Blue Anchor, off Chancery Lane, WC2A 1EL.

If you’re a fan based in the capital, we’d love to see you there – simply email your name and club you support to tickets@fsf.org.uk and come along to share your ideas.

If you have any questions or comments on the Score Campaign, want to get involved in campaigning at your club or hold a local event, visit www.fsf.org.uk or drop us an email to info@fsf.org.uk.

As in home fans would be charged markedly more than away fans for the same game in comparable seats?

How about clubs price their tickets relative to supply and demand. So when a big team like Arsenal or the champions of the country travel to an away game, their big support will mean it is likely demand will be high. Therefore the home club will price that in their top tier of pricing structure.

wage cap - boom

more teams could compete, less mercenaries

this is the only way top clubs will be able to decrease ticket prices and make it fair for your average joe

but money talks, with c**ts like Blatter in charge football will only get worse

30 quid for every away fan at every ground.
You get a fiver back on the way out for every goal your team concedes and pay an extra fiver for every goal your team scores.
0-0 you get your money back.

For instance,Cup game at Reading = 65.00
league game in Stoke = 0.00
