The Sky Sports Channels and ESPN are available free both here and abroad and I have spoken to people that have used this link.

However, when I try it I get a McAfee warning "When we visited this site, we found it exhibited one or more risky behaviors" and I am not prepared to risk it

But then I am just using Microsoft Security Essentials, so who knows!??

Stream quality is actually quite good and I shall finally be able to catch football focus :cloud9:

Would I be right in assuming its a free tool?

I am saying that because free anti-virus tools are not as powerful as the paid ones, no doubt a few would disagree but they are not free for no reason

And your reasoning vis-a-vis free versus paid antivirus is a bit off from my experience. If anything the paid antiviruses add a lot of needless bloatware to your comp that slows it down.

But take AVG for example, there is a free version but if you really want the full works then you have to pay for it, in other words, you get the minimum with the free version of AVG

I can't of course speak about Microsoft Security Essentials that comes with Windows 8

I loathed it to begin with but it does grow on you after a while. You just need to get rid of all the music and video official software that comes with it

OS is clearly a far more functional operating system.

OS is regularly updated to improve the functionality and add features (that Windows have have regularly copied in recent years).

Just because they don't feel the need to completely re-design a a system that works perfectly well doesn't mean it's 'tarting' it up. As I said, the company that feels it necessary to completely overhaul their system every few years is clearly attempting to vainly prove something. This coming from someone who uses both OS and Windows everyday.

OSX whilst not perfect, is quicker, more stable and less susceptible to virus's, malware, spyware and anything else you throw at it. Photoshop crawls on windows and flies even on my Macbook with 16GB Ram. So there!
