Don't be such a dick jumping on the bandwagon of killing our players who don't play for months and then make a few mistakes when they suddenly come back in. Not long ago people were proclaiming Santos as the most exciting attacking left back to play for us since Cole.

One could make an argument that Bouldie did work on the defence during pre-season.Look at our early performances/results.
Also during that time our offensive play suffered,was this due to the tightening of the defence? Perhaps.And did Wenger decide the offence was more important and Bouldie's defensive tactics over-ruled? Perhaps.

Gibbs has been slated on and off over the past couple of seasons. I like the bloke and have always thought he'd come good.
Apart from that goal at the bridge, I've not seen much by way of work ethic from Santos, and if he were half the player I'd hoped him to become for us; I'd like to think that after a couple of years, our fondest memories of him would stretch beyond a speeding ticket.

and has an excellent relationship with Podolski going forward. Think that might be a touch harsh on Santos though - remember in early games he had a habit of lung-busting runs forward in the last minute even when we were only a goal up - certainly reigned that in but how easy it is to judge when he has played so few games this season (11 mostly as sub). I think his best role is actually further forward where is excellent at keeping the ball (or has been I am sure someone will point out when he gave it away blah, blah, blah)
