And that's all it takes. Not sure what your point exactly is son, you say it's possible to win the league without beating a top 3 side, but it's also possible to get relegated without losing a game.
My point is that you are more likely to win trophies if you can beat top 3 sides - you have to beat them in the cup comps. And it helps also to get 4th place in the league.
