taste better than it sounds thankfully
sheeps lung is not a "foodstuff" ..yet they eat "reclaimed meat" burgers
I'd rather have roasted vegetables and cous cous.
Greek restaurant. What a shambles. No wonder the country went bankrupt.
Anyway, in a half full restaurant we ordered food for 6. After about half an hour they finally brought out 2 starters (a simple Greek meze platter). 20 minutes later, after eating quite slowly, the 2 people had finished their starters. The other 4 were still waiting for their starters. They couldn't quite say when the other 4 starters would come.
We paid for drinks and 2 starters and left.
:hehe: its pretty tasty and gives you more energy than redbull imo
full of students, camp chaps n girls who want to chat not serve, etc

difference between greek meatballs and say Jamie Olivers?
Sausage and mash is limited, whereas there are any array of vegetables you could have. Not to mention the fact it's far, far tastier.
Meat isn't a necessity in a meal. In fact, you appreciate meat far more when you have it less often and instead have it when it's cooked very, very well.
For example I'd rather have a week of vegetarian meals and then have one really excellent beef/chicken/pork/lamb/whatever dish in a restaurant than have a week of mediocre sausage and mash, pie, roast chicken etc
However, hiding your Facebook posts from my wall seems like a good idea.
Proper chips are fried twice.
There isn't an objectively right amount of times to fry them, it just relies on the person doing it have some common sense.

Cooking for longer just makes them too crunchy/burnt on the outside and only just cooked in the middle.
First fry, you should do at only 160 degrees for 5 minutes or so. This softens the potato and absorbs that taste of the frying fat a bit. Then let them cool down
Second fry at 185 degrees, just for 3 minutes. The potato is already (nearly) cooked, just you have the 3-minute blast to crisp hem up nicely.

We went for my housemates birthday, they served about half of the group of 20 (imagine how they dealt with that amount of people). Then the other half had to wait about 40 minutes, after which the other had finished their food. They also gave me and my two friends the wrong order, so I demanded two rounds of complimentary beers all round. My friend then got food poisoning.
TOP GAFF!

I only ask as it sounds like your Steki turned out pretty rare
I don't think I've ever been in a restaurant that had such awful timing issues. It was so bad it was almost funny.
At least that's what they say, as we never got past the starter.
