it started with AW saying how we would bring in some quality players, then the we are looking but they must be better than what we have and now we have the our priority is to get people fit and we are not pursuing David Villa etc. It will be another underwhelming transfer window........and the fact is that we are about 20 points behind the league leaders.

The problem with the club is that we are defeatist in our ambition. We look at 4th as being the peak of our aspiration and the language from the club is about being a few points behind Spurs and Everton. However year on year we disappear further behind the champions. ... and yet apparently there are no players who could make us better. Yes we will get the clubs don't want to sell their best player. That is cobblers. Manu, man city, chelsea and even spurs have built better squads by buying players so yes the players are out there......but we won't pay the fees or wages and are well known as being ditherers in the market. Yet we always hear about the great pot of money we have available.

AW and the board are disappearing up their own arses and we are the victims
