What would you recommend in a firearm in defence of your home?
I think for a regular gal, or guy, they need to ....
1) Recognize the responsibility that goes with owning a firearm
2) Practise, practise, practise -including home invasion scenarios
3) gun safe, in a closet -- but easily accessible
AND .. get something that feels goooood in their hands.
I would recommend a pump action shotgun because it leaves a nice trace, but not too deep. It can also go through a closet door.
Second, an AR-15, the kind that feels soft on the shoulder without the long nose.
