simply cannot afford not to.
I think most of us have accepted that with the current squad, it's by no means guaranteed that we'll secure 4th place. And I really can't see Arsene acceptng that.
However, I am slightly concerned with the lack of rumours flying about. Do you think it's possible in this day and age of social media etc that a team would announce a big name signing which they had not been heavily linked to beforehand?
I would absolutely love Gotze or Cavani to come.
I refuse to accept more sh*t for around £10million as it isn't going to make a difference this season.
A really decent player would be ready to play in the Premier League, would lift the fans, lift the players etc. We have some really good players but too much average stuff in-between.
We need at least a starting XI made up from mainly very good players with one or two exceptional talents like Wilshere and Cavani around them imo.
