Paris Saint-Germain are to offer Arsene Wenger a giant £30million deal to quit the English capital and replace Carlo Ancelotti.

Wenger's contract runs out in 2014, but with Pep Guardiola confirming his move to Bayern Munich, and Jose Mourinho repeatedly suggesting he wishes to return to England, PSG have turned to the Arsenal boss to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian would be interested in taking over at the Emirates if the opportunity arises, as he feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League.

PSG's rich Qatari owners are willing to stump up £10million a year to lure Wenger to Paris, which is an increase on the £7million on his current deal.

The 63-year-old has never walked out on a club before the end of his contract however, so the French club may have to wait till the end of next season before they can get their hands on him.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has hinted that Wenger may be offered a contract extension to stay at the Emirates, but it is not a decision that will be made before the end of this season.

Wenger was one of PSG's main targets when their managerial position became open in 2011, but they settled with Ancelotti when their first choices were not available.

The former Chelsea boss has not been told that he will be out of a job in the summer, but the 53-year-old is considering his options in case that eventuality occurs.

During his fear year as Chelsea manager Ancelotti won the Premier League and the FA Cup, but was sacked after failing to win a trophy in his second season in London.

PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi is a friend of Wenger from his work for the Al Jazeera TV channel.

Arsene signs a new long term contract when the current one expires. If that happens I am definitely going to kill myself.
