On the first goal Sagna is caught 20 yards ahead of the centre backs. The team need more guidance and structure.

Arsene must've given him a license to get forward. But what's wrong with just sitting in for the first 30 minutes away from home against a big team. We just handed them a 1-0 lead.

Okay, you can say we wanted to put pressure on them right from the start with attacking fullbacks but we just need to defend first imo. Get some confidence and develop from there. Instead we're 2-0 in the first 15 minutes and out of the game.

The problem is that he doesn't have a clue what to do about it.
I think myself that it's actually down to the opposition going all out to attack us early on and we only get into the game when they slow down and defend. By then though we need to score two or more goals to win.
But, we don't have Van Persie now , he scored 3 goals in the game away at Chelsea last season.

I wouldn't have stated with Diaby against City and Chelsea, or played Kos instead of Mertesacker ,you don't need to be a genius to see that these are mistakes by Wenger.

Every goal conceded is due to individual errors by players,or match officials not spotting fouls .
Also Giroud missing a chance to score early on was an individual error. Van Persie would have buried that chance :-)
