You'd think the transfer window was a surprise to Wenger. Maybe he waits until five minutes before midnight on Christmas Eve to buy his Christmas presents too.
After all there's no value in the Xmas market until then and you just can't find top, top presents in most stores and then if you already have exceptional gifts at home - the best collection of gifts you've ever assembled regardless of what your wife and kids say, what are you supposed to do???
