a train will be there within minutes, after about 10 minutes I will change unto another line which will be running fine despite - shock horror - going above ground two stops before my destination. I will then walk for 10 minutes on gritted pavements and be safely home in the normal time span *






* there is an outside chance that I will stop for a pint **

We were too ahead of our time, it was built too early in the time scale of the world. If you look at the High Speed line down into Kent, that runs perfectly in all weathers. Too late to upgrade everything else now.

I still miss the underground :cry: Northern Line was usually pretty good in the snow

just very hard to pick up. Working totally in English and having English-speaking friends (and TV) makes you lazy :hide: I'm still trying, sort of but probably still haven't reached my GCSE level
