was Ekofisk. Massive field, loads of people needed to be transported. So they used Chinook, coz Chinook carried more folk, hence less departures and less statistical chance of a crash than the Super Puma. But the Super Puma was safer per hour in the air, hence, our company deemed Super Puma safer. Great to know for the Phillips employees going to Ekofisk. That their carrier was less safe per hour, but safer on the grand scheme fir the company.

The long term effects of deep sea diving were really horrible. They are the wons that really sacrified their lives for our welfare.

if we had to "ditch in the river". He must've repeated it all about 5-6 times. I did start to wonder if he had any intention of not crashing. About a month after i came back, one of the helicopters (from the same place), did miss the helipad and ended up in the water :yikes: :hehe:
