The obvious choice was to start Per instead of Kos, leave Koscielny fresh for a more mobile and lively forward threat in Chelsea.

Then when Kos got sent off we should have gone to a back three, left chambo on and put giroud on for podolski, Walcott and Chambo could have added some cover playing as wingbacks using their pace to break, we struggled for possession so keeping a spare man in midfield was essential.

The man is so stubborn and so tactically inept it hurts.
