wenger always has some pathetic exuse. Top teams are not "too timid". Reality is we are mentally weak and low on quality. Wenger has long passed his "best before" date. Thank you for the great memories but do the honourable thing and go rather than continue this slide into patheic old man ranting about others, always finding excuses and just reminiscing about what we used to be. There is probably a bit of money to spend, but not as much as they are saying imo. I guarantee if we had £60m, we would be pleading povity to avoid inflating the cost of a potential target.

The wages are the problem imo. We can identify a player, but the minute we do, all the agent has to do is sound out our interest to Man City, Man U and Chelsea and bang goes any chance of us getting the player for an affordable amount.
