View Full Version : Out of interest, would failing to strengthen make any "Wenger In's" turn into "Wenger Outs?"

This squad needs about 6 new players.

If he signs only two then he should be sacked

I think it might be a tipping point for some.

All the board people say it's there for him, he even admitted the money is there now.

The fact he refuses to spend it is baffling.

I don't think that Spurs are that strong and they have little strength in depth.

If we fail to finish 4th, it is purely down to the manager and his ability/lack of ability, to make these players play as a unit.

Probably most of them play for bigger or (recently) more successful clubs that us.

Whatever reasons he has for doing the things he does, he must have his reasons (And I have faith in him always acting in the best interests of the club)

Instead of spending it to ensure that that doesnt happen.

I suppose its whether you believe what he thinks is best for Arsenal actually is best for Arsenal.

regardless of what spin the board produce. Perhaps the wage structure is much more of an issue.

Anyway I actually dont believe thats the case. Who knows why he hasnt spent yet but Im hoping he has got something up his sleeve in the next 2 weeks.

that's why he can't sign new players. His wage bill is already near to that of United's.

...those that are get swallowed up by those willing to pay distorted and overblown sums. Look at the salaries of some of the players at City: Nasri is a perfect example, arguably better than what we've got, but at a monstrous salary.
