something fundamentally wrong with me? Or is the shortage of available top top players perhaps?

I drive all over the southeast United States during the fall following my South Carolina Gamecocks in college football ... If I were in England I would do the same for the Gunners - fill up the Emirates and "Up the Arsenal"!

Is he going into the draft or is he too young?

My Mizzou took a humbling this season didn't they?

The scary thing is he turns 20 years old next month - he's an absolute "beast" 6-6, 255 and he has a huge wing span and unbelievable athleticism (speed/quickness) ... If I were a NFL team for the 2014 draft (he's not eligible for 2013) I would throw the season if I wasn't a playoff type team ... If he stays healthy at the next level he will redefine the defensive end position (think Lawrence Taylor at LB) and could even be a linebacker in a 3-4 formation ... We were on the 45-yard line 20 rows up at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla., and his "hit" on Vincent Smith of Michigan sounded like a train wreck! ... He literally took two steps to generate that much power five yards off the line of scrimmage to destroy that running back and totally turn the momentum for the Gamecocks ... He is a pretty docile guy off the field but between the lines is an absolute terror.

As for Mizzou - I could not believe how "white" they were when the Tigers came to "the real" Columbia! :) ... No offense, Chief, but the Big 12 might get away with that out in the midwest but no way that will work in the Deep South ... Plus, I was disappointed in Mizzou's top recruit, the wide receiver, and their much ballyhooed senior wideout ... Brad Smith was awful - and, yet, he looked good when I watched him on TV in Big 12 games and vs. North Carolina in their 2011 bowl game ... Just a totally different level of play in the SEC - it took us 20 years to adjust from being an Independent and two Hall of Fame Coaches (Lou Holtz & Steve Spurrier).
