Arsene just does not have a clue what a good player looks like anymore hence his refusal to get out there and buy. Its funny how managers like Moyes and Pardew keep coming up with gems and you never hear them complaining. Arsene's yoy demise and the continuing weakening of the team (which is boring anyway) topped with sickening ticket prices and **** matchday atmosphere will see fans stop turning up. Add to that all the kids who are choosing which team to support and are the future fans / investors, you will see Arsenal slide into mid table mediocrity. Stop the rot now and get Usmanov in to sort this mess.

Have you noticed how many more and more Chinese and Asian tourists are attending matches....

Holidays to the UK with a Premier League game at the Emirates are marketed big time in the Far East....

I couldnt believe what I was seeing when the final whistle blew following our 2-1 defeat to Chelsea. Dozens and dozens of morons smiling and taking pictures of themselves with their smartphones. Being a real fan, I had a look of thunder on my face and telling everyone within earshot how the team was a pile of cünt and the players should all be killed. Anyway all these tourists will be turning up at Spurs and Chelsea instead very soon. Mark my words.

So if Wenger is clueless, do you think a change of manager will mean we can start attracting the top talent again? Or splash out on big names?

I wonder how the Arsenal board will react to a potential new manager asking to sign big names on bigger salaries after almost two decades of financial prudency. I'm not entirely sure Wenger is the problem, although I agree his recent signings, Podolski excluded, have been mediocre at best.

I doubt his commitment, although I see your point as anything would seem better than what we have right now.

To be honest, I don't think actual money is a problem, the club is making a profit despite funding the new stadium, but Wenger and the board seem reluctant to spend it on the right players :) Perhaps a matter of vision? I mean, Ba for 7m, I was so frustrated to see Chelsea sign him.

Whereas now we're just buying mediocre players on high wages with no re-sale value. Or we let the contracts of our good players expire and are forced into selling them.
