I reckon you wouldn't count a few Caribbean Islands nor a few day trips into Canada.

Still many places I haven't been to here. Never seen the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Alaska, Hawaii. Never been to Los Angeles. Nor Boston. Only went to Wahington DC for a day, so didn't see much.

I grew up with no dinero, amigo, and when the kids were young we went to Destin, FLorida (Panhandle, aka the Redneck Riviera) one week and to Colorado one week (fiather -in-law lived there). that takes up the two weeks vacation right there for about 10 years or so.

I think South Florida should count as a foreign country, imo.

How about yourself? Ever been to this side of the pond?

that experience justice. I'll tell ya all about one day. It cemented in my mind something I had always believed anyway - that the US and UK are natural cousins. We love pretty the same things - rock 'n roll cars and pussy :nod:

Freezing cold. It snowed above 9500 feet, Keystone Resort is at about 9000, so you could see along the mountain ridge where the snow stopped. A-Basin opened for skiing, we went up the pass and got into a family snowball fight, in July! Had to spend money we didn't count on buying the kids winter coats :hehe:

Pretty fun riding horses, though, out in the mountains with weather all misty and rainy like that. Felt like I was Jeremiah Johnson out hunting Grizz'! We rode about every day, good times.
