the proof of whether or not this is a fact lies in the results that we have had this season.
They are worse in the league so far than they were with him playing for us last season. FACT.
Idiots bringing cup comps into it only shows how desperate they are.
If you offered Ferguson Giroud and Plodolski for RVP he would burst out laughing.
My predictions for the season are that unless Wenger buys some reinforcements , that with our current squad we will finish outside the top 4.
With a few strong sides still left in the FAC that looks unlikely to be a trophy EITHER.
As for the Champions League ,it's a case of carry on dreaming.
My other prediction is that Stan will show a profit on players sold and bought, Ivan doesent get 600k bonuses for nothing. Also another bit of crystal ball gazing shows that Stan will introduce a dividend for shareholders in the near future.

considering we are stuck in perpetual mediocrity. Taking a step back may be necessary to eventually realize our potential.

As it happens I agree with your views.
However, Stan's actions might only be to try and get a certain 4th place at least finish back. We shall see.

That doesn't make him exempt however. He should have dealt with RVP's contract years ago. Arsenal's inability to hold into star players and recent failure in developing new talent is all on Wenger. He has one more shot with our English triumvirate, so lets hope they turn into stars.

We do have some exceptional players in the squad, but they are severely handicapped by others who are only in the mediocre/good category, added to the jokers in the pack. So 4th is but a dream this season, that MAY happen, if we score the services of two quality/experienced players.

that it made sense to sell him because he had used the money saved /gained, to make us stronger.
And if you believe this, then you really will believe anything.
Wenger himself of course may not have believed it himself but was just making an excuse.

Treating 4th place like a trophy every year isn't what anyone wants. Do you like playing for 4th every year? It's like the f**kin special Olympics ffs.

what you read, then the chances of you understanding complicated things (like running AFC) are zero.
