View Full Version : The Walcott saga,

is being used by Ivan, on part of his master Stan,to divert attention away from the lack of spending on new players that are obviously required. Walcott could sign a new contract and still be sold in the summer, it really is all much a contrived do about nothing.
The claims that Stan is not taking anything financially from AFC are ludicrous . He's sold four top players since becoming the major shareholder without replacing them.
The personal debt that he owes, regarding the money that he borrowed to buy Fiszman's shares with, is unlikely to be repaid out of his own pocket.
He's with to show a profit on that money and sooner or later he will do so. Probably starting with paying himself a dividend.

The money was already there before the 3 new boys were signed. To start with Poldolski was signed BEFORE ,RVP was sold. And so was Giroud, and both said that they thought Persie was staying :-) Anyway, those two and Santi will not score the same amount of goals and make the number of assists between them that RVP did.

...so he will have to think of something else for the remainder of January, if indeed you are right. I'm no fan of Stan or Ivan, but I disagree with that analysis. The question remains about their ambition for the club, which is questionable at best.

The combined spend on Pod, Gir and Santi is more than that received for VP. What other money was available is irrelevant to the argument you made. If Giroud and Podolski thought VP was staying, they must be very dim.

I would acknowledge that we didn't replace Nasri (Chamberlain was the closest thing) but I don't understand how you can claim we didn't replace Van Persie when we bought two accomplished strikers in the same summer we sold RVP.

We don't what Wenger told them the regarding the RVP sale. He was only sold prior to the season .

If you think we have replaced RVP with Poldolski and Giroud then you really are rather dim. Wenger would have done better signing a player like Ba,with established Prem experience, and one who can play 90minutes.

by paying huge wages and bonuses to c**ts like Ivan and co,this money would be better spent elsewhere. The dividends are on their way .

If Giroud,Poldi and Walcott each score 20+ (whic is probable/highly probable) it won't replace Robin's 37 goals

So instead he simply states (with no evidence) that he WILL pay himself dividends at some completely unspecified time in the future - and then uses this completely made up piece of conjecture to slag him off.

It's textbook strawman tactics
