although it must be conceded that his nose grows longer every season, it seems likely that he will be resting some players against Swansea.
At least he will have an excuse if things go pear-shaped as they did in the league cup when he was made to look like a fool when putting out a first team against Bradford,a side that cost £7,500 and losing to them.
However, he did once say that winning the league cup would not be worth celebrating for him. His record in the FAC used to be a good one though and it looks like his best chance of winning a trophy this season .
I think that he should put out his strongest side and go for it.
