as the ball spent literally 43 minutes in the air as both sides took turns to hoof it up and down the park, punctuated only by fouls and clattering tackles.

Hearts did manage to string together four passes on the ground going forward on about two occasions, while I only noticing Hibs managing this once, while passing it back from their midfield to the goalie.

The Hearts manager praised his side at half-time for playing "good football". Arsenal might only be sausages but this lot are rancid haggis.
