Are people actually optimistic that Theo will sign an extension?

I can't think of many reasons why he would.

Loyalty/love of the club? Loyalty is a myth nowadays, and we all secretly hated the c**t until last week.

If it's about money it would make no sense for him to come this far and sign for anything less than he's asked for.

He could wait 6 months and pockets the £6-8m transfer fee as a signing on fee and get £20k more a week.
