the next game in which we might win. Many of the recent acquisitions, (say 2/3 seasons) came believing they were joining a squad of winners and not a club that would gradually lose/let go it's strongest most influential players. Now we don't have play-makers on the pitch, the recent acquisitions have no one in the team to seriously admire and respect as a talisman/leader.
Nothing can/will change until we shed up to 8 of the present first team and buy, not bring through from the youth/reserves, seriously excellent and experienced players.
But I can't see this happening, until board/policies change wholesale.
