"This is a special team," said Van Persie, taking out his ***** and beginning to piss all over memories of his arsenal days. "Everybody wants to help each other. Everybody's keen for everyone to score. Defenders are working their socks off for the midfielders, the midfielders are working for the strikers. Everybody wants to run and everybody has one target in their mind."

Over your shoulder every five minutes to see which of your best players is going to be the next one sold.

Arsenal were a bunch of f**king mugs, a joke of a club. You only really appreciate what a bunch of dishonest charlatans they are until you leave. I am just so glad to be out of there"

Pulled it across goal instead. In the newcastle game he shot from a similar position and got a huge *******ing by all.

Sometimes, shooting is the right thing to do. Not often, but sometimes.....

As opposed to the yard wide of the near post, which gibbs seems to specialise in

and pulled it back for Walcott to score.

I'd generally always advocate crossing in that position, if you can see a gap through to a specific player. Fairly unusual to score from that angle as the goalie has the near post and often a defender or two will be blocking the far post.

apart from a few goals. his Pen in the FA cup final.

Wide of the near post.

He is actually getting worse.

And dont get me started on Gibbs, I think Barry, Robin and the other one with the hair would be preferable

I suppose the point is that if he shoots and misses, they have a go at him. If he crosses when he it was better to shoot, nobody moans. That is the team's focus, to some extent.

close distance you're certainly going to make the goalie work. But as the science of soccernomics would doubtless confirm, the chances of scoring from there are slim. Granted, you could score from a rebound, but equally, as per the Newcastle goal, even if a pull back doesn't reach its initial target (Podolkski), there may be a secondary player behind ready to snap up the chance (Walcott).

I've always considered players shouting at each other for not passing to them in a good position as a very healthy thing,
