washing machine) and was heading for a rock strewn area when Armstrong took over the controls . This in a vehicle which had , evidently, never been tested in such conditions and with every c**t in the planet watching his every move ( including many like yourself probably hoping he crashes and burned). He landed with 15 seconds worth of fuel left. And all the lunar Astronauts WERE heroes imo Anyone willing to strap themselves to the biggest missile ever created and be launched into space with an estimated 10% chance of not coming is a hero in my eyes. Armstrong/Aldrin and Collins were heroes amongst heroes. Then again some people view a fat drunk c**t who can throw darts well as a hero.
