Looks a lot leaner now fitness wise.

Don't rule out Arsenal resigning him on the summer on a free transfer but at a lot less than the £52,000 he's currently on.

Denilson can still be a very top player but he has two problems he needs to sort out because they are both interlinked with each other:

1. He wants to play regularly - Currently getting that at Sao Paulo.

2. He wants a big salary - Also getting that at Sao Paulo but bear in mind Sao Paulo are only paying 15% of his salary. The rest is all Arsenal.

The lad has a problem in that no top club would 1. Play him regularly and 2. Pay him what Arsenal currently pay him.

If he wants to stay in Brazil then that's fine but he'll have to make do at vastly reduced wages.

No one there would pay him more than the 15% he's currently paid by Sao Paulo. Infact it would probably be less because at this moment in time he's classed as an 'Import' in Brazilian tax laws so they pay Zero taxes on his salary. By signing him officially they would have to pay close to 11.25% which would mean even less money for Denilson.

Might be best to come back to Arsenal for something like £18k a week and rebuild his career.

Just wait. Its all planned. Little Mozart needed for the crunch games later on when defences get ultra tight vs us.

We still want to improve on our 3rd place last season. Club also feel they'll be vindicated by finishing 2nd - Prove the doubters wrong and make RVP look like an absolutely mercernary ie Arsenal would've won had he stayed.
