Some of you may remember my post from a couple of weeks ago, Sheilas Wheels increased my daughter's car insurance from £900 (for a 4 year old Mini One) to £2,500.
She has a clean license but made a claim when her wing mirrors were stolen while visiting a friend i.e. the car wasn't outside her house.
The repair cost was £900 (they damages the wiring) and she paid £250 of that
She did not have a no claims bonus protection as you can only get that after 4 years of no claims which would have been this year.
Anyway, we have made a lot of enquiries and the best two were Churchil at £1,066 and Direct Online (£1,089)
How can Sheila Wheels be so more expensive? Have you had similar experience?
