1) Kroenke would have been very happy with a minority stake for a long, long time. It got him what he wanted which was access to one of the great soccer clubs for his Colorado Rapids. Insight into training techniques, etc., and a higher profile for MLS.

2) The Board requested he buy a majority stake because of their well placed fear of the Russian.

3) Stan has never sold ANYTHING in his life.
